Happy Memorial Day!

Dr. Ellery took a short break from paleontology yesterday to ride in the City of Bowie's Memorial Day parade. In recognition of his prominence in the scientific community he was permitted to ride on one of the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department's engines. Here are a couple of photos:

Dr. Ellery's Secret

A giant monster truck rolled over all the dinosaurs. When all the dinosaurs were dead, one of its tires blew up and it was shot into outer space.

Suchomimus

One night when we were reading my dinosaur encyclopedia I found a chapter and I saw Suchomimus, an ancestors of crocodiles that lived back in time, in the picture. And then, when I looked at the chapter, it was really fun.

My New School

I like my new school. It is very good. But I used to go to another school in the same school building. My new teacher's name is Miss Hansen [sp?], and I really like her because she is someone who's very nice. I get more playtime in Miss Hansen's class than in Miss Gianna's class. I love my new school so much that I just never want to leave it.

A Story About Magic Schoolbus

One day the Magic Schoolbus was going on a field trip and the field trip was about dinosaur science (paleontology). And the Magic schoolbus went into a book of dinosaur science and the teacher read about dinosaurs all until it was time to go back to school.

The next day they went on another field trip and this one was about bats and other nocturnal creatures that only come out at night. And they went into a castle full of bats. And they explored all through the castle.

The next day they came to visit me, Ellery.

The end of the best blog entry of all.

Dinosaurs Floating Up Into Space

Something that makes wind created a giant wind storm that just blew all the dinosaurs up into space, except for a few who survived that we call birds. The wind storm blew them off into space and they landed on the planet Neptue, the little gray one. And so far the dinosaurs went extinct on Neptue when the giant asteroid hit it and destroyed the whole planet and it just made a material that asteroids can explode. It's just made of a material that asteroids can destroy. And the asteroid knocked Neptue down and the dinosaurs floated back to Earth and they're still wandering around the desert today. Every day they're still wandering around the desert on Earth.

Dr. Ellery's Theory of Pouchosaurus

Pouchosaurus was one of the tallest dinosaurs and one of the pouched dinosaurs. The pouch was used for carrying things like big rocks and all sorts of heavy things. Pouchosaurus was almost as big as Gicharyosaurus, one of the tallest and biggest and humongousest dinosaurs that have ever lived before the time of people, even in the whole wide world. We haven't yet seen a dinosaur so mysterious and angry before and it had spikes to defend itself from most dinosaurs which are all over its head. And it uses its spikes to defend itself from Gitemposaurus and Reprisbosaurus, Clymplogolosaurus, and you haven't recognized the Dogandcatandalltheanimalsinthewholewideworldosaurus was one of the best dinosaurs ever discovered. But we met a new one called Bandaidosaurus that needs to be defended from Pouchosaurus and the Probotrobotsaurus, which was one of the best dinosaurs waiting to be discovered,, but watch out for the fierce Bandaidosaurus with razor-sharp teeth 75 inches long from the top of its beak to the end of its frill. Pouchosaurus had to defend itself from Newsosaurus. Prisbrontosaurus was one of the early dinosaurs from the Jurassic period. And now Spwisbrontosaurusochirus but it was the best dinosaurs waiting to be discovered by Dr. Ellery. And Stapleosaurus was the last dinosaur I've ever discovered.

But now we're going to talk about the dinosaurs in the Cretaceous Period. It was the period of metal robot dinosaurs. The whole world shakes and has the robot sound "pleet-a-ploot". In the Cretaceous period there was Probrontosaurus, one of the early flying robot dinosaurs. This mama was born in the 1996 abd ewaited for Basketsaurus to be discovered. It is so big that only one neck, back, and tail bone had been found, and a little bitty neck bone from a baby. Now comes Ultimintsaurus. It was a small dinosaur in the early Cretaceous period, one of the best dinosaurs with a way to defend itself by using its long tail as a whip to defend itself from predators. All of the babies have long tails and big feet. And Kangarooasaurus was the last dinosaur that's been discovered by me, and it's the only last one I know in my whole life.

The end.
